Raffle Winner Picker
SpinOfLuck is a free, ad-free online raffle winner picker wheel that uses a cryptographically secure random number generator to select winners fairly from any list. No signup required. Paste your ticket numbers or entrant names — one per line — and the tool shows every ticket as an animated tile, then runs a 3D tunnel reveal before landing on a winner. Draw a single grand prize or a whole prize ladder in one run, weight entries for multi-ticket buyers, and publish a SHA-256 verification hash so the room can confirm the draw was fair. Everything runs in your browser; no signup, no upload, no ticket database.
Built for nonprofit and charity raffles, school and PTA fundraisers, office and club prize draws, and event organisers who need a transparent draw the whole room can watch and verify.
Weighted odds: add *N to give an entry more chances — e.g. Ava*5 has 5× the odds of a normal entry. Pick any number of winners in the next step.
Add at least 2 entries to start a draw.

In-depth guide
What is a raffle winner picker?
A raffle winner picker is a tool that randomly selects winning tickets from the pool of sold entries. You paste the ticket numbers or names and the tool draws one or more winners at random, replacing the spinning drum or hat with a screen everyone can see.
This picker is built for live events: a fullscreen tile wall you can project, a suspenseful tunnel reveal, and a published verification hash so attendees and organisers can confirm the draw afterwards.
Running a transparent raffle draw
Trust matters most when money changed hands for tickets. Three practices keep a raffle above suspicion: finalise and record the ticket list before drawing, draw in front of the audience, and use a verifiable random source rather than someone reaching into a bag.
Paste your finalised ticket list here, draw on the projector, and keep the seed and verification hash with your records. Because changing a single ticket changes the entries hash, the proof is bound to the exact pool you drew from.
Weighted odds for multi-ticket buyers
Raffles usually let people buy multiple tickets, which should mean proportionally better odds. Weighting handles this cleanly: a buyer with N tickets gets a single line with weight N instead of N pasted lines, which is easier to audit and produces exactly the right probability.
The picker uses Efraimidis–Spirakis weighted sampling without replacement, so when you draw several prizes the weights bias each pick correctly and no buyer wins the same prize ladder twice.
How to use raffle winner picker
- Enter your tickets. Switch to Lucky-Number mode for ticket numbers, or paste names. One entry per line.
- Weight multi-ticket buyers. Add *N for anyone who bought multiple tickets — e.g. 'Maria*10'.
- Set the prize count. Choose how many winners to draw — one grand prize or a full prize ladder.
- Draw and record. Go fullscreen, draw live, and keep the seed and verification hash with your records.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I draw from ticket numbers instead of names?
- Yes. Switch to Lucky-Number mode and paste your ticket numbers, one per line (e.g. 1001, 1002, …). The picker styles them as numbers and draws exactly the same way. Names, codes, and mixed lists all work too.
- How do I handle people who bought multiple tickets?
- Use *N weighting. 'Maria*10' gives Maria ten times the odds of a single-ticket entry — the correct odds for someone who bought ten tickets — without pasting her name ten times. Weights are included in the verification hash, so the weighted raffle stays provably fair.
- Can I award several prizes in one draw?
- Yes. Set a custom winner count to the number of prizes. Winners are drawn without replacement (no one wins twice) and revealed one at a time, from the smallest prize up to the grand prize.
- Is the raffle draw fair and auditable?
- Yes. Each draw reveals a 256-bit random seed, hashes your exact ticket list with SHA-256, and publishes a verification hash plus a step-by-step selection log. Anyone can re-run the algorithm with the seed and the list to confirm the same winners — useful for committees and auditors.
- Is our ticket data stored anywhere?
- No. The picker runs entirely in your browser with no account and no database. Your ticket numbers and names never leave the device.
