Classroom Quiz Wheel
SpinOfLuck is a free, ad-free online classroom quiz wheel that uses a cryptographically secure random number generator to select winners fairly from any list. No signup required. Add your review questions, spin to pick one at random, and start a countdown timer while students answer. The live scoreboard keeps team points, the wheel avoids repeats so every question gets used, and fullscreen plus large-text mode make it easy to read from the back of the room. It runs entirely in your browser — no signup, no ads, and nothing leaves your device.
Made for K–12 and higher-ed teachers, tutors, and trainers who run review games, formative checks, and team competitions in class.

- Formative checks. Spot-check understanding mid-lesson with a few timed questions on the board.
- Team competitions. Split the class into teams and let the scoreboard drive friendly rivalry.
- Sub-friendly activity. Leave a ready-made question deck so any substitute can run an engaging lesson.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I use my own questions?
- Yes — add them one at a time, paste a whole list in the Import tab, or import a JSON file you exported earlier. You can also load a built-in template to start fast.
- How long can the timer be?
- Pick 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 seconds, or type any custom length. You can pause, resume, and restart the countdown during a question.
- Does it keep score?
- Yes. Marking a question correct awards points to the team whose turn it is (more for harder questions), and you can adjust any score by hand. The leader gets a crown.
- Is it free and private?
- Completely free with no ads. Questions and scores are stored only in your browser via localStorage — nothing is sent to a server.
