The history belongs to the wheel, not the entry list. Load a saved entry list into a fresh wheel and you start clean; open last week's wheel and its record is intact. That split is deliberate: the roster is reusable, the history is specific to one run.

Remove winner, and fairness

With Remove winner after spin on, the wheel becomes a draw without replacement: each winner leaves the wheel and the rest share the odds. That is what most classrooms and prize draws want, because it guarantees every name comes up exactly once before a reset. With it off, every spin is independent and a name can win twice, which is right for a decision wheel or a one-off prize.

History across devices

By default the history lives in the browser with the wheel, which is enough for one device. Saving the wheel to a free optional account carries the history with it. When the wheel is opened elsewhere, the two records are merged rather than one overwriting the other, so a spin made on the classroom computer and a spin made on your laptop both count.

Signed-in spins are also recorded to the account separately, which is what the dashboard's recent-spins list shows. Nothing about this is required: a teacher who never signs in still gets a full per-wheel history on their own machine.
